I just want to say one thing to Raven. ^_^ Gears of War I think it takes shooter games to the next level. I mean you can do things in Gears you couldn't really do in a first person shooter. Plus you can also see what your character is doing. Don't get me wrong I do like Halo and Unreal Tournament 3. I don't even have Halo 3 yest because people say it was disappointing but the hard core fans don't care. I might just get it to finish the series.... but my money is going else where. Gears of War is a small step into shooters. Plus playing it online isn't so bad. ^_^ Ok i'm done. -Sits in a corner and listens to the Fable talk and what-

In Fable 2 news, the price of the Collector's Edition dropped 10 dollars. It sounds good at first, but at the cost of a few items. They said due to a supply chain issues the Collector's Edition will no longer come with the premium box, 5 printed fate cards and the Hobbe figure.

I wonder if that only applies to reservations for the Collecter's Edition made as of now or if it applies to reservations made before this.

Indeed. GameStop, where I pre-ordered it no longer allows you to pre-order it. On Amazon you can see the old price crossed out and replaced with the new price.

I just received an automated phone call from Gamestop. Apparently, and lamentably, it's true. The cards and figurine are no longer included in the Collecter's Edition of Fable II and as such the prices have been reduced. Not to say I thought you were lying, Ultima, you understand. Fortunatly, those of us who made our reservations still have them intact. Still, I cannot help but wonder why those of us who reserved the Collecter's Edition before this development still will not recieve the cards and figurines. If, as they say, it is due to a shortage of supply, they should simply not offer them anymore, but still include them for reservations made beforehand. That way, those of us who acted fast could gloat and lord our cards and figurines over those who did'nt get them. MWAHAHAHAHAHA! Twisted Evil

I was just trying to nurture that little evil I saw in you at the end of your post, the ones Ultima amd Saphron pointed out. Think of two gardens, in one is a great white tree, that you take care of every day. In the other, a slightly wilted red sapling, which you water like 3 times a year, I was just hoping you wouldn't mind letting me water that red tree some more, because we three saw a little "Evil" in you. Well Spahron, how long do you think it'll take for you to get Xbox Live? because Lion Gate studio said that playing with ppl online will be available 1 week after Fable 2 is released, though they say you'll still be able to see the abion orbs of other players and talk to them,but unable to bring them over to your respective games. Just wanted to ask and put that bit of information out there, here's hoping to hear a reply. And Sexymanz......PLZ make a bank account, that way you can get xbox live and a 360 if you don't have one. I think you would would make a REALLY F*CKED up bad guy, I could SO see you getting drunk in the game all the time, and fighting in the pubs. Who knows, maybe I'll charge at you with 2 torches in my hand screaming "NEHHHH" LMAO

I'm late to the discussion but I've had Fable pre-ordered for a couple months now. Just the regular edition, I didn't need any extra figures or cards my shelf was already to full of that stuff. Had I known it was just going to be in game content I might have reconsidered.
