Maria Sharapova gained instant fame win she won Wimbledon last year !
I love to see her again although my fav. tennis player is Justine Henin who plays which so much artisticy.

There has been a lot in the papers here about banning grunting female tennis players http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,2087-1660369,00.html. Maria Sharapova can reportedly hit 100 decibels which is the same as an airliner taking off 
Personally I don't see a problem with pretty 18 year old female tennis players in skimpy outfits getting all sweaty and grunting loudly ... |

I watched Maria Sharapova beat Serena Williams at Wimbledon last year when she was only 17. It was fun to watch because she's so good lookin. I read on http://www.forbes.com that she made $18.2 million last year.  |

I think Monica Seles started the groaning thing.
She almost got killed when a crazy fan attacked her with a knife and put it her back in a German tournament. She did make her comeback a few years later but never reached her old level again.
In her time no sound measuring yet I think. |
