Oh hey everyone. To stick to the subject.
I saw "Der Untergang" (The downfall) yesterday. It's quite a controversial movie about the last 10 days of Hitler. I thought it was really terrible, but really wanted to see it since there was so much talk about it. People hardly spoke to eachother when the movie ended... hmmm give me a comedy every day... I prefer to laugh it really wasn't my thing.
So if you feel a bit down don't go see it, but go to Meet the fockers or team America _________________ Don't Panic! |

Hmmm didn't know Smarties are not available in the US. Maybe it's the same as with the "kinder-surprise'' eggs. The egs with the little toys inside. These are forbidden in the US since they think it is dangerous for children. Since then they have become 'forbidden fruits' for Americans.
Quite a strange policy _________________ Don't Panic! |

since i am king movie geek...i shall recommend some goodies. cause we all like the goods.
i watched this old english the film the other night from 1945 called "dead of night". i quite enjoyed it. if you're sick of the american crap that comes out, look for japanese movies. japanese movies are awesome. foreign films are a nice change of pace, because they aren't banked on star power for success.
you liked the ring? check out the japanese version called "ringu". i found myself one step ahead of the american remake the whole time, but i jumped out of my seat a few times watching ringu. also, check out the japanese versions of "ju-on". those are amazing. _________________ i'm the duke. i am A number one. |

Yeah I saw the Japanese movie "ringu" too and I thought it was scarier then the American remake. I have to say that I find Japanese movies are way more cruel to my european standards. European movies seem to be less glamorous as Hollywood flics. I generally like it when a movie has a bit more open ending as real life. I really liked the movie "The Last Samurai", but it was a shame that they had to put a happy romantic ending to it. I think it spoiled the movie. _________________ Don't Panic! |
